Canadian Patents and Trademarks Wiki

IPWiki was initiated by miltons ip, a Canadian intellectual property law firm. Patents, trademarks and licensing are the core of our practice.

The intended reader is 'a sophisticated lay' reader: Canadian lawyers who are not IP specialists, in-house counsel, IP practitioners from outside Canada, and experienced inventors and business owners. For more, see IPWiki: Style guide.

We hope that IPWiki will grow to be a comprehensive and authoritative body of information on Canadian intellectual property law and procedure for anyone interested in Canadian IP, and, for Canadians looking to protect their intellectual property abroad. However, it is a work in progress and is not a substitute for legal advice. While we will strive to maintain editorial standards, the content may be insufficient, inaccurate or misleading. Please see the disclaimers.

If you cannot find what you are looking for, please email us and we will prioritize your question.
